Built on a Legacy of Reliability and Results
D-ASH Chemical Technologies was established in 2023 through the merger of Ashburn Chemical Technologies and DrillChem Drilling Solutions.
The company’s roots trace back to 1968 when Ashburn was founded, and it has evolved significantly over the decades. In 1990, Steven Madden took the helm as President and led the formation of Fluid Service Technologies in 1994, expanding Ashburn’s reach into on-site fluid maintenance and machine cleaning. Fluid Service Technologies later merged fully with Ashburn, strengthening its service capabilities within the industrial market.
DrillChem was founded in 2000 and scaled under the direction of Brandon Hayes, with Amber Golden joining in 2013 to support operations and accelerate growth. Strategic acquisitions in 2020, including Keeton Services and Subsurface Innovations, expanded DrillChem’s technical capabilities and field presence.
AML Industries, founded in 1989, has built a strong reputation as a trusted manufacturer of high-performance metalforming lubricants and coatings, serving industries such as automotive, aerospace, military, and oil and gas. In 2025, AML was acquired by D-ASH Chemical Technologies, continuing its legacy of innovation, safety, and customer-focused performance.
Today, D-ASH operates four specialized brands with one clear purpose: to deliver performance and long-term value through every solution we offer.
